Houston landed the top pitcher on the market this winter in Andy Pettitte. They also lured Pettitte's buddy
from
New York, Roger Clemens from pending retirement. These acquisitions will solidify a staff aced by
Roy Oswalt.
The team's offense continues to be one of the most feared in baseball with the 5-headed monster of
Lance Berkman, Jeff Bagwell, Jeff Kent, Craig Biggio and Richard Hidalgo. Jimy
Williams manages the team, which has been located in Houston since 1965.
