Houston Astros Tickets

About Houston Astros:
Home Arena: Minute Maid Park

Divisional Rivals: Cincinnati Reds, Milwakee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals
Key Acquisitions: 2B Jeff Kent
Team Notes: New sponsor for their brand new ball park is Minute Maid. With the addition of Jeff Kent at 2nd Base, long time infielder Craig Biggio moves to centerfield.

The Houston Astros seek to return to the playoffs in 2004 with the exciting offseason moves that were made. Houston landed the top pitcher on the market this winter in Andy Pettitte. They also lured Pettitte's buddy from New York, Roger Clemens from pending retirement. These acquisitions will solidify a staff aced by Roy Oswalt.

The team's offense continues to be one of the most feared in baseball with the 5-headed monster of Lance Berkman, Jeff Bagwell, Jeff Kent, Craig Biggio and Richard Hidalgo. Jimy Williams manages the team, which has been located in Houston since 1965. The Houston Astros have made the playoffs seven times. Since 2000, the team has been playing their games in Minute Maid Park, which has a capacity of 40,950.
