This CASI-sanctioned cook-off offers Novice, Show and People's Choice categories. Admission is free, and $5 buys you a chili sample cup and People's Choice voting ballot. You'll also enjoy live music, a silent auction, vendor booths and children's activities, not to mention guest appearances from local fire departments, 2010 Texas pageant winners, Superheroes and much more. Soft drinks, beer and margaritas will be available for purchase. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking lot of Bass Pro Outdoor World, 2501 Bass Pro Drive (next to Fuddruckers).
